Mick OlsonMick Olson, Board Chairman

Mick Olson is the Senior Vice President of Finance and the Chief Financial Officer for TopLine Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Maple Grove, Minnesota. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, accounting, information services, compliance and card services, including strategic and risk planning and budgeting. Olson joined TopLine Federal Credit Union in 2006. Previously, he held various accounting/finance positions in several industries including healthcare and credit unions. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from St. Cloud University in St. Cloud, Minnesota and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Olson is involved with the Credit Unions for Kids program, and a member of the CUNA CFO Council Education Committee. Olson and his wife reside in Ramsey, Minnesota with their three children.


Rich WendtRich Wendt, Vice Chairman

As VP/Chief Lending Officer for Noble Credit Union, Richard (Rich) Wendt’s responsibilities include directing all of the lending and collection activities for Noble Credit Union. Rich is also an integral part of the Executive Management team at Noble.

Prior to joining Noble, Rich has spent twelve years in the credit union industry in executive leadership roles responsible for directing and monitoring lending and collection operations for two credit unions in California. Rich’s prior twenty years’ experience has been in lending/operations management in the big bank and consumer finance environments throughout the western United States.

Rich is a graduate of Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology.


Tom Becker Dan Czerniawski, Treasurer

Daniel Czerniawski is Chief Executive Officer at Actors Federal Credit Union, headquartered in New York, NY. Prior to joining the credit union, Mr. Czerniawski held positions at Atlantic Federal Credit Union, Garden State Federal Credit Union, North Jersey Federal Credit Union, TD Bank and Capital One.

He is a graduate of the University of Scranton and is currently pursuing his MBA at New Jersey Institute of Technology.


RDan PicardDan Picard, Secretary

Dan has been employed in the credit union industry for over 25 years. He started as a collector for Telephone Workers’ Credit Union of Boston from January, 1994 until he joined the City of Boston Credit Union as their Collection Manager in December, 2006. He was promoted to Consumer Lending Manager in 2014 and was responsible for all consumer lending products, indirect lending, collections and student loans.

In June, 2019, Dan joined Hanscom Federal Credit Union as VP Consumer Lending & Collections. In that role, he oversees the Home Equity process, the Consumer Lending Direct and Indirect processes, the student loan process as well as the Collection process.

He has served since October, 2016 on the Board of Directors for the CUSO, Member Student Lending, LLC. In this role, he is involved with the approval of Policies and Rates for the various cuScholar and cuGrad Student Loan programs offered by the CUSO via the LendKey platform. He currently serves as the Treasurer for the CUSO.

Dan resides in Attleboro, Massachusetts, with his fiancée Erin Widergren. He is the proud father of 2 sons, Timothy and Andrew.


Julie KreinbringJulie Kreinbring, Board Member

Julie Kreinbring works at Zeal Credit Union as their Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Julie has been in the financial service industry for over 20 years; working in positions such as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. She has a Master of Science in Information Systems from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Davenport University. Along with working in the financial services industry, she has also been an adjunct professor/instructor at Davenport University in Auditing and Accounting. She resides in the Metro Detroit Area.


Kara Van WertKara Van Wert, Board Member

Kara joined Veridian Credit Union in 1991, with headquarters in Waterloo, IA. Having held various lending and branch management positions during this time, Kara is currently the Vice President of Lending. Her areas of responsibility are Mortgage Lending, Consumer Direct & Indirect Lending, as well as Account Resolution/Collections. Kara received her B.S in Business Management from Upper Iowa University.
