Julie KreinbringJulie Kreinbring, Board Chair

Julie Kreinbring works at Alliance Catholic Credit Union as their Executive Vice President. Julie has been in the financial service industry for over 16 years; working in positions such as Interim Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Controller. She has a Master of Science in Information Systems from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Davenport University. Along with working in the financial services industry, she has also been a part-time professor/instructor at Davenport University in Auditing and Accounting. She is married, has two children and resides in the Metro Detroit Area.


Mick OlsonMick Olson, Vice Chairman

Mick Olson is the Senior Vice President of Finance and the Chief Financial Officer for TopLine Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Maple Grove, Minnesota. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, accounting, information services, compliance and card services, including strategic and risk planning and budgeting. Olson joined TopLine Federal Credit Union in 2006. Previously, he held various accounting/finance positions in several industries including healthcare and credit unions. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from St. Cloud University in St. Cloud, Minnesota and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Olson is involved with the Credit Unions for Kids program, and a member of the CUNA CFO Council Education Committee. Olson and his wife reside in Ramsey, Minnesota with their three children.


Rich WendtRich Wendt, Secretary

As Chief Lending Officer for Parsons FCU, Richard (Rich) Wendt’s responsibilities include directing the overall lending activities of Parsons FCU. This includes setting lending strategy to help the credit union fulfill its mission in supporting its member’s financial needs. Rich is also an integral part of the Management team.

Prior to joining Parsons, Rich has spent 9 years in the credit union industry in an executive leadership role responsible for directing and monitoring lending and collection operations for a credit union in California. Rich’s prior 20 years’ experience has been in lending/operations in the big bank and consumer finance environments throughout the western United States.


Linda McFadden Linda McFadden, Board Member

Linda McFadden originally started her financial career working for the banking industry in the Washington DC area. After several years she crossed over to the credit union community with Navy Federal Credit Union and went on to spend 14 years with Robins Federal Credit Union in Warner Robins, Georgia where she became Vice President of Support Services. Relocating to the NY Metropolitan area in January of 2001 she took on the role of VP/Operations for XCEL and played a major part in implementing disaster recovery at its height on 9/11. Linda became President/CEO of XCEL in 2006. She has held, directed or had oversight for every position within a credit union. Linda currently serves as a director for the NJ Credit Union League and Member Student Lending LLC CUSO.


Ann Goldinak Ann Goldinak, Treasurer

Ann Goldinak started her career in public accounting at Ernst & Whinney and subsequently worked in the pharmaceutical industry, where she held several positions in Corporate Internal Audit, External Reporting, Internal Reporting and Special Projects. She joined the not-for-profit arena in 2006 and has over 9 years of experience in the Credit Union industry.

Ann currently serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at First Atlantic Federal Credit Union in Eatontown, NJ. She oversees the Finance & Accounting, Operations, Collections, Human Resources and Facilities departments.

She earned her BS in Accounting from Montclair State, has an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and received her CPA certification in 1990.

Ann was one of the eight credit union executives comprising the Credit Union Protection Advisory Panel formed by CUNA Mutual in 2010, where she served for 4 years. She is married, has two children and resides in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.


Dan PicardDan Picard, Board Member

Dan Picard is Consumer Lending Manager at City of Boston Credit Union. He has worked in the credit and collection areas of the Credit Union industry for over 20 years. He has been with the City of Boston Credit Union since December, 2006. He is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) as designated by the Credit Union National Association. In his role, he is responsible for the Consumer Lending products offered by the City of Boston Credit Union including the partnership with LendKey for the cuScholar Private Student Loan and the Student Loan Refinancing Program.

Dan is a resident of Dorchester, graduate of Catholic Memorial ’88 and holds a BSBA in Accounting from Suffolk University ’95. He is the proud father of 2 sons.


Kara Van WertKara Van Wert, Board Member

Kara joined Veridian Credit Union in 1991, with headquarters in Waterloo, IA. Having held various lending and branch management positions during this time, Kara is currently the Vice President of Lending. Her areas of responsibility are Mortgage Lending, Consumer Direct & Indirect Lending, as well as Account Resolution/Collections. Kara received her B.S in Business Management from Upper Iowa University.
